Adwoa Akyianu (she/her/sis) hails from South Sacramento. She is passionate about racial and social justice. Adwoa is a recent psychology graduate of Sacramento State, where she accomplished impactful work with the Black Student Union.
Adwoa is a natural leader and lives to serve her community. She is committee to bringing forth change, equity and liberation for historically excluded people. She aims to use her position as a Policy Advocate with Youth Forward to assist in assuring that policy and legislation are inclusive, and represent the needs and desires of the community.
