Shakeya Bell is the Program Manager for iQSQUAD which is a HER Movement based in Sacramento, CA. iQSQUAD is responding to the need for safe, inclusive spaces for girls and women of color to connect, learn and celebrate the power of women and sisterhood. Shakeya has a passion for empowering young women of color to be unapologetically themselves by celebrating each individuals interests, creativity and personality. Shakeya is deeply committed to cultivating leaders to combat issues affecting girls and women of color by providing a healing and safe space and connecting them to opportunities to lead and better their future. A love for street art, music and her community inspires her everyday to work hard to aid in giving voice and power to youth.
