Ana Latu Taukolo is a Tongan-American advocate and organizer with over a decade of experience uplifting young people across Sacramento. Deeply rooted in her community and guided by the principle, “It’s not about the hard work, it’s about the HEART work,” Ana has led programs centered on civic engagement, leadership development, and cultural empowerment. She has served in key roles at the Alliance for Education Solutions (AES), Higher Attainment through Wisdom and Knowledge (H.A.W.K.) and Empowering Pacific Islander Communities (EPIC), where she supported youth through mentorship, advocacy, and community building. Born and raised on Nissenan/Miwok/Maidu land (Sacramento, CA), Ana is passionate about cultivating spaces where young people, especially Pacific Islanders and youth of color, can lead, thrive, and create change. She holds dual bachelor’s degrees in Sociology and Multicultural & Gender Studies from Chico State and is currently pursuing an MBA at Sacramento State set to graduate in May of 2026.
