Araiye (Ray) is very passionate about youth empowerment, community organizing, and working with communities of color and marginalized groups to create systemic change through personal experiences with oppression. Ray specializes in creating programs that focus on youth leadership and mentorship for young individuals who grow up in areas of poverty. She encourages young people to look beyond their barriers as underrepresented students and to stop the predetermination and bias that keep them from being powerful beyond measure. She helps youth recognize their talents and guides them to use their voices to make a difference. Ray’s aim is to empower youth and inspire positive, innovative change in their everyday lives.
